8 Days Classic Safari in Uganda

Day 1: Arrival

Our safari guide will be at Entebbe International Airport on your arrival to welcome on your 8 days safari in Uganda and share with you wonderful Uganda safari experiences. He will transfer you by road to your hotel as you get sampling doses of what a tour to Uganda actually means. Depending on your time of arrival you may do a brief Kampala city tour or relax at your hotel in preparation for an exciting safari all through. Meal Plan: BB

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Take an early morning cup of coffee and head out of Kampala city onto the countryside where you stumble at exciting events at each turn. The 8 days safari in Uganda amazement begin with tracking of rhinos at Ziwa sanctuary before proceeding onto the top of Murchison Falls after a brief lunch break for scenic viewing and photo opportunity. You will check in your hotel at sunset and sleep to loud howls of hyenas in the background. Meal Plan: FB

Day 3: Game drive, boat cruise

Rise up with the first sound of morning bird; take a hot cup of coffee and a snack. Our safari guide will be waiting in the parking yard to take you on Uganda game viewing safari of a lifetime. Interests to see are so many; Elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, giraffes, Waterbucks, hartebeests, several antelope species, lots of bird species and beautiful landscapes. You will do an exciting boat cruise on the Nile to the bottom of the falls and view the largest Nile crocodiles basking in the sun besides hippos and lots of water bird species. Day 4: Transfer to Fort Portal

Your safari guide will pick you up early morning and be at the jetty in time for the 7.00 am ferry crossing. Your journey to Fort Portal is quite long and full of surprises. You will have a quick bite of your breakfast at a steep escarpment overlooking the rift valley before proceeding and lunch in Fort Portal town. You will check into your hotel in the evening and shake of travel fatigue. Meal Plan: FB

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking

Your safari guide will escort you to chimpanzee tracking trail head at Kanyanchu tourism office to formalize all procedures before ranger guides lead you into the tropical rainforests. Tracking time is not specific because chimpanzees are highly mobile but you will be back in time for lunch after which you may take a community guided tour to interact with the indigenous people and share their life experiences. Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Relax and shake off chimpanzee tracking fatigue on our previous day of 8 days safari in Uganda. You will depart the equatorial rainforests after breakfast and your Uganda tour descends onto the rift valley with savanna grassland travelling in the foothills of Ruwenzori Mountains in the background. You will check in your hotel in time for lunch and later experience rift valley endowments; big herds of elephants, buffalos and other antelopes quenching their thirst in the waters of the stream with huge hippos and crocodiles sunbathing on the shores of the Kazinga channel on a 2 hour launch cruise. Day 7: Game drive, transfer to Kampala

The safari guide will pick you up early in the morning after your cup of coffee and take you on a game viewing drive. You will encounter big herds of elephants, buffalos, antelopes and many antelope species alongside prides of lions, leopards and hyenas. For the keen bird lovers, Queen Elizabeth National Park is an ideal destination to tick all your dream grassland species. You will then proceed out of the wilderness onto Kampala and have lunch en route at the equator line crossing point and check in to your hotel in Kampala early evening. Day 8: Departure

Enjoy your morning sleep and shake off all your adventure fatigue. The safari guide will pick you up and take you on a tour of strategic places letting you buy souvenir items along the way. He will then escort you to Entebbe International Airport in time for your departure flight climaxing your exciting 8 days safari in Uganda
