Detailed Itinerary for the safari
Day 1: Arrive in Uganda
On the first day of the safari you arrive in Uganda using Entebbe international airport, at the airport you will be picked up by your safari driver and transfer to your hotel in Kampala. Depending on the time of your arrival you will go for a city in Kampala, on this tour you will visit sites like kasubi tombs, Gadhafi mosque, Namirembe church, Lubaga cathedral and many more. In the evening you will drive back to your hotel, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On the second day of the safari you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast, checkout of your hotel and embark on your journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park which is a drive of approximately 8 hours. Bwindi impenetrable national park is one of the most famous national parks in Uganda famed for hosting the critically endangered mount in gorillas, the park is generally forested thus hosting the largest population of mountain gorillas in the world. Upon your arrival in Bwindi you will check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Mountain gorilla trekking experience
On the third day of the safari you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park for mountain gorilla trekking experience, in the park you will go to the briefing spot for briefing. In the process of briefing rules and regulations to be followed on the trekking experience will be read to you, at the trekking spot you be assigned a group to trek and you can also hire a porter for assistance on the mountain gorilla trekking experience. After the briefing you will head in to the forests of Bwindi with guidance of a ranger guide in search for mountain gorillas together with your packed lunch, mountain gorilla trekking experience takes approximately 3-4 hours depending on the group you are assigned to trek and where they spent the previous night. When you find the gorillas you will be allowed to spend with them only one hour, in this hour you can take pictures, enjoy seeing mountain gorillas play, pick fruits, leaves and take care of their young ones. After the experience you will go back to the park’s headquarter for the end of the safari, then drive to your lodge and in the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On the fourth day of the safari you will wake up for breakfast, checkout of your lodge and then embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park which is a drive of approximately 3 hours. Queen Elizabeth national park is the hub of wildlife in Uganda, the park host many animal species such as lions, elephants, leopards, kobs, topi, buffaloes, antelopes, crocodiles and many bird species. On your way to Queen Elizabeth national park you will pass through Ishasha sector where you can spot tree climbing lions on fig trees, upon your arrival in the park you will have lunch and in the afternoon you will go for an afternoon game drive on which you will spot many animals and birds. after the game drive you will drive to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5: Game drive and Boat cruise experience
On the fifth day of the safari you will wake up early in the morning and drive to the park for an early morning game drive, early morning game drive is the perfect time for spotting many animals as they are just waking up such as elephants, leopards, antelopes, Uganda kob, buffaloes and many more. On the game drive you will also go for lion tracking experience on which you will search for lions in the ishasha sector here you will many lions with a use of a tracker, after the experience you will drive back to your lodge for late breakfast and relax at the lodge. In the afternoon after lunch you will drive back to the park for a boat cruise on kazinga channel, on the boat cruise you will see many animals such as buffaloes playing in the waters, herds of elephants, kobs and many birds such as herons, egrets, crested crane and many more. After the experience you will drive back to your lodge and in the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 6: transfer back to Kampala for drop off
On the sixth and last day of safari you will wake up early in the morning, have breakfast, checkout of your lodge and drive to Queen Elizabeth national park for a short game drive. After the game drive you will embark on your journey Kampala with a stopover at the equator landmark for pictures. In Kampala you will have lunch and then be dropped off either at your lodge or at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight thus the end of your safari.
