Day 1: Arrival and pick up
Our safari guide will pick you up on your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, meet and greet and will brief you about your impending 4 Days Uganda gorilla safari as he transfers you by road to Kampala city.
You will have lunch in an upscale restaurant in Kampala city, stretch your legs, and then begin your journey to Lake Mburo National Park by road, 230 km west of Kampala. You will do a brief evening game viewing drive and later check in to your hotel in time for dinner. Meal plan: BB
Day 2: Morning game drive, transfer to Bwindi
Rise before the first light of the day, take a hot cup of coffee with a snack, and the safari guide will be in the hotel parking lot awaiting to take you on a memorable 4 Days Uganda gorilla safari in the grasslands. Outstanding attractions that keep you on your feet all through the drive include: big herds of buffalo, giraffes, zebras, elands, topis, impalas, sitatungas, lots of bird species, and a beautiful scenic setting.
You will proceed for a one-hour boat cruise and explore water wildlife species, notably large hippos, crocodiles, and lots of water bird species. You will arrive in time for an early lunch and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving at your hotel in the evening. Meal Plan: FB
Day 3: Gorilla trek, Transfer to Bunyonyi
Take an early morning cup of coffee with a snack, make the very last personal administration, and the safari guide will escort you to the tourism rangers’ office before 8.00 am. You will be briefed about forest and gorilla trek regulations, check your physical fitness and trekking preparedness. Shortly, you will be led into the forests for a once-in-a-lifetime Uganda safari experience.
The ranger guides will use their field tactics and daily experiences to locate the gorilla feeding sites, and you will be allowed an hour to take photos, learn about, and interact with the gorillas before descending the steep hills back to base.
The safari guide will escort you to your hotel for lunch and later transfer to your new hotel on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi and shake off the gorilla trekking fatigue in a cozy and serene lake environment. Meal Plan: FB
Day 4: Excursion, departure
Take breakfast by the lakeside, and shortly you will go on an exciting boat cruise on one of the most beautiful and photographed lakes on the African continent to explore what lies on its beautiful islands. You will begin your Kampala journey thereafter and have a lunch break in Mbarara town.
You will arrive in Kampala city in the evening, and the safari guide will escort you to Entebbe International Airport for your outbound flight or your hotel or an agreed destination to mark the end of your 4 Days Uganda gorilla safari.
