3 days Bwindi flying safari
3 days Bwindi flying safari is a tour which will start in Entebbe international airport and you will fly to Bwindi national park where you will engage in a gorilla trekking excursion in the impenetrable forest as you search for the gorillas.
During the safari, you will also enjoy a cultural tour with the Batwa. The safari will end with a flight back to Entebbe international airport.
Day 1; pick up and flight to Bwindi national park
You will be driven from your hotel in Entebbe to Entebbe international airport for your flight to Bwindi national park. On arrival at Kihihi airstrip, you will be met by your guide who will welcome you and drive you to your lodge for check in. You will also have lunch at your lodge.
Depending on your time of arrival, you will engage in a cultural tour and interact with the Batwa people, enjoy traditional dance performances and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma haven lodge (midrange), Mahogany springs lodge (luxury).
Day 2; gorilla trekking
After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will be driven by your guide to the park headquarters for a briefing of the gorilla trek in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. After briefing, you will continue into the forest in groups of 8 to look out for the gorillas in their natural habitat.
When you find the gorillas in the forest, you will spend 1 hour with them, enjoy taking photos and observing the gorillas before returning to the briefing point to meet your guide. You will be driven back to your lodge for dinner and to spend the night at Buhoma haven lodge (midrange), Mahogany springs lodge (luxury).
Day 3; flight to Entebbe airport
On the last day off your 3 days gorilla safari you will have breakfast and check out of your lodge and your guide will drive you to Kihihi airstrip for your flight to Entebbe international airport which will bring the safari to an end.
