DETAILED ITINERARY OF THE SAFARI
Day 1: transfer from Nairobi to Amboseli national park
On the first day of the safari, you will have an early morning breakfast at your hotel, meet your safari guide, a representative from Focus East Africa Tours, and embark on your journey to Amboseli National Park after a short briefing.
From Nairobi city to Amboseli National Park, it is a drive of 4-5 hours, and along the way you will enjoy beautiful scenic views. When you arrive, you will have lunch after checking in at your lodge, then go for an afternoon game drive.
In Amboseli National Park, you will be welcomed by the scenic backdrop of mountain Kilimanjaro, and on your drive you will enjoy sights of many animals such as herds of elephants, leopards, lions, wildebeest, hippos, zebras, giraffes, and many more.

Day 2: morning game drive and cultural visit in Masai community
On the second day of the safari, you are to get up early and drive to Amboseli National Park for a morning game drive. This experience begins with a short briefing at the park’s headquarters, and with your guide you will start on a game drive.
The game drive safari in Amboseli National Park takes approximately 3-4 hours, and it is an excellent experience for viewing a variety of animals such as lions, leopards, buffalo, rhino, jackals, caracal, serval cat, bush baby, baboons, aardwolf, duikers, fringed-eared, waterbuck, Masai giraffe, blue wildebeest, zebras and many birds.
After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for a late breakfast and rest. In the afternoon, you will have lunch and then drive to the Masai community for a cultural visit. In the Masai community, you will enjoy African culture, norms, and traditions; you will witness unique local practices of rearing livestock, farming, way of dressing, beads, and be entertained by traditional songs and dances. In the evening, you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 3: Transfer back to Nairobi
On the 3rd and last day of the safari, you will wake up early in the morning and drive to Amboseli National Park for an early morning game drive. The morning game drive is a perfect session to enjoy the sight of early risers and predators such as lions, leopards, elephants, wildebeests before they disperse because of the sunshine.
After the game drive, you head back to your lodge, have a late breakfast, check out of your lodge, then embark on your journey back to Nairobi. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, have lunch, and then be dropped off either at the hotel in Nairobi or at the airport for your departure flight, which is the end of your safari.
