Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Jinja
You will be picked by Focus East Africa Tours staff on your arrival at Entebbe International Airport who will welcome you and give brief introduction about 10 days Uganda Safari Uganda tour. He will transfer you to your hotel in Jinja town; a lakeside town on the shores of Lake Victoria from where River Nile starts her long journey to Mediterranean Sea. Meal Plan: BB.
Day 2: Jinja city tour, transfer to Kampala
Wake up at first light, take breakfast and a morning boat cruise at the source of the Nile on Lake Victoria; the largest inland fresh lake on African continent. You will visit prominent features; local market, fishing village, brewery, clothes manufacturing factory before driving back to Kampala city in the evening. You may take a night tour of Kampala and get amazing cultural experiences first hand and get back to hotel before mid night. Meal Plan: BB.
Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
The real 10 days Uganda Safari begins this morning after breakfast when Focus East Africa Tours guide picks you up on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a detour to Ziwa Sanctuary for rhino tracking experiences and get introduced to life in Uganda wilderness. You will have lunch in wilderness setting before proceeding onto the top of Murchison falls for brief walk, photo taking and scenic viewing. You will proceed and check into your hotel at sunset and sleep to strange sounds emanating from the wilderness. Meal Plan: FB.
Day 4: Game drive, boat cruise
Rise before the first light of the day; take a cup of hot coffee and Focus East Africa Tours guide will be waiting to take you on an exciting Uganda wilderness tour that will transform your body and soul. After lunch you will do a boat cruise on the Nile to the bottom of the Murchison Falls to get first hand aquatic wildlife experiences. Meal Plan: FB.
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Focus East Africa Tours guide will be waiting to transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park and be at the jetty for 7.00 am ferry crossing on the Nile. You will then ascend steep escarpments out of the Albertine rift valley and get amazing scenes of indigenous people tending their plantations. You will have a lunch break in Fort Portal, freshen up and stretch your bodies before proceeding in the foothills of Ruwenzori Mountains onto the park early evening. Meal plan: FB.
Day 6: Game drive, boat cruise
Focus East Africa Tours guide will pick you up from the hotel parking lot at first light and take you on an excursion of Uganda wilderness. The wilderness is full to the brim with big herds of elephants, buffalos, several antelope species, prides of lions, packs of hyenas and lots of beautiful birds. You will do an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel and check out aquatic wildlife species before returning to hotel and rest the remaining evening. Meal Plan: BB.
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Our 10 days Uganda Safari guide will pick you up after breakfast and take you for a game viewing drive in the plains of Ishasha wilderness before transferring you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. You will arrive and check into your hotel in the evening to the amazement of mist covered thick jungles hanging on steep valleys. Meal Plan: FB.
Day 8: Gorilla trekking
Take a hot cup of coffee to warm up your body from the coldness of the night. Make last gorilla trekking preparations before the 10 days Uganda Safari guide drops you to tourism rangers’ office. They will register you and check your gorilla trek preparedness before leading you into the thick jungles. Soon the rangers will locate the gorillas’ feeding areas and be extra attentive and listen to details of gorilla behaviors, habits and lifestyles. You will return to base camp and hotel after an hour for lunch, relaxation and enjoyment of your Uganda safari. Day 9: Transfer to Kampala
Focus East Africa Tours guide will pick you up at 8.00am and for the transfer journey to Kampala. You will have lunch en route at the Equator line crossing point and take memorable photos before arriving in Kampala city and checking in your hotel early evening. Meal Plan: BB.
Day 10: Souvenir shopping, departure
Enjoy sunset breakfast and check out of hotel. The safari guide will take you on a brief city tour in strategic places where you can shop souvenir items to carry home. At an appropriate time the safari guide will drive you to Entebbe International Airport in time for your outbound flight.
