Day 1: Transfer to Ndutu area, Game Drive

Drive Time: Approx. 7 hours. Flight option available

On this first day of your 4 Days Ndutu Migration and Ngorongoro Crater Safari, our Tanzania safari guide shall pick you and brief you about the safari from your hotel of stay in Arusha. Drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area as you proceed to the southern Serengeti, in Ndutu area, where the great wildebeest migration shall be. Enjoy your packed lunch over a picnic, and then embark on a game drive in Ndutu.

Look out for the wildebeest herds, watching as they calve and if lucky be hunted by the lurking predators. Wildlife species in the Ndutu area also include elephants, zebras, cheetahs, giraffes, lions, leopards among others. You will be driven back to your lodge after your game drive as you prepare for dinner and overnight at Sero Tented Camp for Budget, Ndutu Ngorongoro Camp for Mid-range, Lake Masek Tented Lodge for Luxury.

Day 2: Ndutu Wildebeest Calving Experience

You shall enjoy breakfast at the camp and get to explore the wildebeest covered southern plains of Serengeti National Park in the Ndutu Area. Watch the wildebeest migration and chance to witness the calves being born, as well as predators lurking around! Lunch shall be enjoyed in the wilderness. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Ngorongoro Crater Drive

Drive Time: Approx. 3 hours

On this third day of your 4 Days Ndutu Migration and Ngorongoro Crater Safari, enjoy an early breakfast and with a packed lunch drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in the crater. You will descend 600 meters into the crater which is home to numerous wildlife species like the big 5 which includes lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and elephants. Other wildlife species in Ngorongoro include hyenas, wildebeests, antelopes, cheetahs, antelopes, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs among others.

There are also different bird species that can be spotted around Ngorongoro crater like ostriches as well as flamingos, common along the shores of Lake Magadi. After your game drive around the Ngorongoro crater, enjoy lunch and then more game viewing.

After breakfast, proceed to transfer to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight or hotel of stay in Arusha. En-route, you shall enjoy a Mto wa Mbu cultural tour interacting with the different tribes of Tanzania and a community visit. You shall be dropped off at the airport for your flight check in.
