Day 1: Arrival
Upon your arrival at the airport, you shall be picked up by the hotel and transferred to your hotel of stay. Check in, enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Materuni Waterfalls Visit
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the foothills of Kilimanjaro for a Materuni waterfalls visit giving you an opportunity to enjoy the stunning views of the Kilimanjaro Mountain which is the highest in Africa. Enjoy lunch, and then proceed to return to the hotel in Arusha. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Tarangire National Park, Game Drive
After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will meet you and welcome you for the safari. He will brief you about your safari at hand, and will proceed on a transfer to Tarangire national park which is known for its large herds of elephants. You will also look out for the various wildlife species such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, hartebeest, wildebeest, elands, impalas and many bird species.
You will also enjoy beautiful views of the baobab and acacia trees where the wildlife species take shelter. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Tarangire View Camp for budget/ Burunge Tented Lodge for mid-range, Korong Tarangire Tanzania Bush Camp for Lower-Luxury.

Day 4: Full day in Tarangire national park, Guided Walking Safari
You will have breakfast at your lodge and with your packed lunches, you will proceed into the wilderness of the national park to engage in a morning game drive. You will enjoy looking out for wildlife species during your Tanzania safari such as elephants, dik dik, leopards, buffalos, gazelles among others. This national park also has over 500 bird species and you will see different birds during your safari.
After having lunch, you will relax and later in the late afternoon hours engage in a guided walking safari inside Tarangire National Park, to explore more attractions and enjoy seeing wildlife species. You will return to your lodge for dinner and to spend the night as above.

Day 5: Lake Natron Shores Visit
After a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, a drive a transfer to the Lake Natron. Arrive in time at the lodge for lunch. Relax and later in the late afternoon embark on an easy guided walk to visit the Southern part of Lake Natron and explore the ecological diversity and magnificent breeding sites of flamingoes.
You shall see a variety of pink flamingoes here. During your walk, you shall also get to cross a forest where you shall get to see a number of giraffes. You shall get to enjoy wonderful sunsets at the end of the day, as you return to your hut. You shall then head to your lodge of stay for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Maasai Village Visit and Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Maasai Bomas Visit
On this 10th day of your 18 Days Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar Holiday, you will have breakfast before leaving Serengeti national park and driving to your next wildlife viewing destination which is the Ngorongoro crater. You will descend 600 meters into the crater which is home to numerous wildlife species like the big 5 which includes lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and elephants. Other wildlife species in Ngorongoro include hyenas, wildebeests, antelopes, cheetahs, antelopes, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs among others.
There are also different bird species which can be spotted around Ngorongoro crater like ostriches as well as flamingos common along the shores of Lake Magadi. Proceed for a Stone Town tour to walk along the ancient alleyways in Zanzibar and learn about the history of Zanzibar from ages ago, making important site stops all the way. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnights stay as above.

Day 14: Prison Island and Spice Tour
You will have breakfast at your hotel and after this you will start your day’s activities.
Engage in a spice tour as you explore the plantations where you will see different exotic spices and also get to know the uses of the spices like cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg among others. After the spice tour, enjoy lunch and proceed to take a private boat from Stone town to Changuu Island for Prison Island where you will enjoy seeing the Giant tortoises and during your tour of the island you will also enjoy snorkeling.
