Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park, Iby’wachu Cultural Experience
You will be met by our Rwanda safari guide from the airport or hotel of stay in Kigali. After a short brief, you will start your journey to Volcanoes national park.
Have lunch and transfer to Musanze – the nearest town to Volcanoes National Park found in the northern province of Rwanda. Dinner and overnight at Muhabura Hotel for Budget, Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge for Mid-range, 5 Volcanoes Boutique Hotel for Lower-Luxury.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
You will enjoy early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch and bottled drinking water for briefing by the park ranger guides at 7:00am. After briefing, you will start your gorilla trekking journey accompanied by the ranger guides in search of the mountain gorillas; this takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.
However, the guides will try to find them from where they were last seen the previous day! You will spend 1 hour with these gentle giants and later return to your lodge to refresh and relax. In the evening, you can do an Optional community tour around Ruhengeri for a Rwanda cultural experience. Dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali, Flight to Tanzania (Own Booking)
After breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed to Kigali for your flight to JRO. Your guide in Arusha will welcome you, brief you about your safari and drive you to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Burka Coffee Lodge for Budget, Zawadi House Lodge for Mid-range, Gran Melia Arusha for Luxury.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Drive
Your guide will meet you at the hotel in Arusha and you will start your safari to the Ngorongoro conservation area where you will enjoy wildlife viewing experiences. You will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater where you will search for wildlife species like lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, rhinos, hyenas, jackals, hippos, zebras, herds of wildebeests.
You will also see attractions such as Lake Magadi where you will see a variety of birds such as flamingos as well as other wildlife species grazing in the nearby plains. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Drive to Serengeti National Park, Game Drive
After breakfast, your guide will drive you to Serengeti national park. You will have lunch in the national park and later you will engage in an afternoon game drive around Serengeti national park.
You will search for different wildlife species during your game drive such as the big 5 and many others during your safari.
During your afternoon game drive in Serengeti national park, you will look out for a variety of wildlife and bird species such as elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, zebras, rhinos, buffalos, hippos, cheetahs, elands, waterbucks, kudus, lions, leopards, impalas, gazelles among others. You will have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6&7: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti Park Tanzania
After breakfast at your lodge, you will head out with your packed lunch for a full day Serengeti National Park safari experience. Engage in a morning game drive around Serengeti national park and look out for the wildebeest herds in the savannah plains as well as other wildlife species. You will have lunch ahead of another wildlife experience in the national park.
Later in the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure
After a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge, you shall check out of the lodge and get to drive back to Arusha via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying your packed lunch en-route. You shall be dropped off at the airport from where you shall catch your outbound flight or hotel in Arusha, ending your 8 Days Rwanda Gorillas, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti Safari.
