7 days Bwindi and Serengeti luxury safari is an experience which will take place in Uganda and Tanzania. The safari will start in Uganda with a gorilla trekking experience before flying to Tanzania for a wildebeest migration safari and wildlife experience in Serengeti national park.
Day 1; pick up and flight to Bwindi national park
You will take a flight from Entebbe international airport to Bwindi national park on the first day of your safari. On arrival at Kihihi airstrip, your guide will be waiting for you and will welcome you for the safari and drive you to the lodge.
After lunch, you will engage in a cultural tour and interact with the Batwa people. You will interact with the Batwa and get to know more about their way of life and culture. You will also enjoy traditional dance performances during this tour and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Mahogany springs lodge.
Day 2; gorilla trekking
After breakfast early at the lodge, you will be driven to the park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking experience. You will also be allocated guides and go in groups for the gorilla trek in Bwindi impenetrable forest.
You will search for the gorillas in the forest and when you find the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them before returning to the briefing point. After the gorilla trek, your guide will drive you to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Mahogany springs lodge.
Day 3; flight to Entebbe
You will have breakfast at the lodge and your guide will drive you to Kihihi airstrip for your flight to Entebbe international airport. You will be picked up from the airport and driven to your hotel in Entebbe for check in.
You will also have a tour around Entebbe and visit the botanical gardens for a relaxing evening and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Protea hotel Entebbe.
Day 4; flight to Kilimanjaro international airport and coffee tour
On the 4th day of your 7 days Bwindi and Serengeti luxury safari, After breakfast and checking out of the hotel in Entebbe, you will take a flight from Entebbe airport to Kilimanjaro international airport. On arrival in Tanzania, your guide will welcome you and you will be driven to the hotel for check in.
Depending on your time of arrival in Tanzania, you will engage in a coffee tour and get to know how coffee is grown, processed and packaged and you will also taste the coffee. After your visit to the coffee farms, you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Arusha Serena hotel.
Day 5; flight to Serengeti national park
On the 5th day of your 7 days Bwindi and Serengeti luxury safariYou will have breakfast at the hotel in Arusha and your guide will drive you to Arusha airport for your flight to Serengeti national park. On arrival at the airstrip in Serengeti, your guide will be waiting to welcome you and drive you to the lodge for check in.
You will also engage in a game drive around Serengeti national park and search for various wildlife species like elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, waterbucks, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs among others. After the game drive, you will be driven to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Serena lodge.
Day 6; full day Serengeti
After breakfast early at the lodge, you will enjoy a full day game viewing experience around the savannah plains of Serengeti national park where you will search for various wildlife species like elephants, zebras, impalas, giraffes, kudu, waterbucks, antelopes, lions, leopards among others. You will engage in morning and afternoon game drives on this day and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Serena lodge.
Day 7; flight to Arusha and departure
After breakfast early at the lodge, your guide will drive you to the airstrip in Serengeti national park for your flight to Arusha which will bring the safari to an end.
