14 days Uganda A Kenya and Tanzania safari is a unique safari experience across different destinations in East Africa. The safari will start in Nairobi and then go to the home of gorillas in Uganda, which is Bwindi national park where you will engage in gorilla trekking. You will also visit Queen Elizabeth national park where tree-climbing lions can be spotted in the ishasha sector.
Activities that you will engage in during your safari include gorilla trekking, lion tracking, game drives, and hot air balloon experiences; visiting the Ngorongoro crater; and also relaxing on the white sand beaches of Zanzibar, where you will also engage in a dolphin experience.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: pick up in Nairobi and flight to Entebbe international airport
Your guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel and take you to the airport for your flight to Uganda’s Entebbe International Airport. On arrival in Entebbe, your guide in Uganda will pick you up and you will proceed to your hotel, where you will spend the rest of the day and dinner and overnight will be at 2 friends hotel Entebbe.
Day 2: flight to Bwindi national park
After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will pick you up and drive you to the airport for your flight to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park in the southwestern part of Uganda, which is home to the gorillas.
You will check in at your lodge and have lunch in Bwindi national park as you prepare for a community experience with the Batwa people, where you will enjoy cultural dance performances and so much more as you interact with the batwa. After your experience with the Batwa, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Buhoma haven lodge.
Day 3: gorilla trekking
You will have breakfast early in the morning at your lodge in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park as you prepare for your gorilla trekking activity. Your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for your briefing about the procedures and rules of the gorilla trekking activity.
After being allocated ranger guides, you will trek into the impenetrable Bwindi forest in search of the gorillas, which you will spend about 1 hour with. During your gorilla trek, you will also see other primate species in the forest, such as black and white colobus monkeys and red-tailed monkeys as well as a variety of bird and butterfly species. You will spend approximately an hour taking photos, interacting with and admiring their wild nature before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Buhoma haven lodge.
Day 4: drive to Queen Elizabeth national park
Your breakfast will be served at your lodge as you prepare to check out of the lodge and drive to Queen Elizabeth national park which is home to the tree-climbing lions. The drive will take about 4 to 5 hours and you will proceed to your lodge, where you will have lunch.

You will engage in an evening boat ride along the Kazinga channel where you will enjoy seeing wildlife species like elephants, buffalos and hippos along the shore of the lake. After the boat ride, you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Parkview safari lodge.
Day 5: lion tracking experience
After having breakfast at your lodge, you will engage in a lion tracking experience in the plains of Queen Elizabeth national park. You will also enjoy an enroute game drive in the national park, where you will look for lions and other wildlife species before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Parkview Safari Lodge.
Day 6: transfer to Entebbe
Your guide will pick you up from your lodge after you have had your breakfast at the lodge. you will start your journey back to Entebbe with a stop in Mbarara for lunch. As you drive through the countryside, you will enjoy beautiful views before continuing to Entebbe, where you will check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at 2 Friends Hotel Entebbe.
Day 7: flight to Nairobi and transfer to Masai Mara
After having breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe, you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, your guide will pick you up and you will start your drive to Masai Mara national reserve.

You will have a stop in Narok, where you will interact with the locals, such as the Maasai people and get to know more about their way of life. You will also enjoy craft shopping and see local crafts like beaded jewelry of the Maasai and later continue to the Mara, where you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight at Sentrim Mara camp.
Day 8: hot air balloon experience and game drive in Masai Mara
You will wake up early in the morning for your hot air balloon experience over the plains of Masai Mara. Your guide will drive you to the landing site, where you will join other passengers and be briefed about the activity. You will proceed to get onto the hot air balloons and enjoy an aerial view of Masai mara national reserve.
After the hot air balloon experience, your guide will drive you back to your lodge for lunch. You will engage in an evening game drive around Masai Mara as you enjoy looking out for wildlife species such as the big 5 like lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and rhinos. Your dinner and overnight will be at Sentrim Mara camp.
Day 9: flight to Serengeti national park
After breakfast at your lodge in Masai Mara, you will prepare for your flight to Serengeti national park. Your guide in Tanzania will pick you up from the airstrip and you will enjoy an enroute game drive on the way to your lodge for lunch.
You will engage in an evening game drive around Serengeti national park and enjoy looking out for wildlife species such as wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, impalas, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos, hippos, and kudu, among others. Dinner and overnight will be at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 10: full day in Serengeti national park
Wake up for an early breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your morning game drive. Your guide will drive you around the savannah plains of Serengeti National Park while you look for various wildlife species that inhabit the area, including elephants, antelopes, kudu, impalas, gazelles, hippos, buffalos, lions, leopards, and many others as they roam and graze near the kopjes and woodlands.

You will have lunch after your morning game drive and later engage in another game drive in the evening as you explore Serengeti national park and later proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 11: drive to Ngorongoro conservation area
After an early breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and then proceed for another game viewing experience at the Ngorongoro conservation area. You will have lunch before proceeding to descend to the Ngorongoro crater (the world’s largest inactive caldera) to enjoy a wildlife viewing experience.
You will search for a variety of wildlife species in the crater, such as wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and elephants. You will also see predators such as lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, and cheetahs, among others. You will also visit Lake Magadi, where you will see hippos and flamingos as well as other bird species. After this experience, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Hhando coffee lodge.
Day 12: transfer to Arusha and flight to Zanzibar
You will have breakfast and later check out of the lodge ahead of your drive to Arusha, where you will get a flight to Zanzibar island. You will be picked up on arrival at the airport in Zanzibar and proceed to your hotel, where you will have dinner and stay overnight at the Zanzibar palace hotel.
Day 13: dolphin tour experience
After breakfast at your hotel, you will proceed to Kizimkazi fishing village, where you will board a traditional dhow and head off in search of dolphins.
You will also have an OPTIONAL visit to the Jozani forest, which is home to the endangered red colobus monkeys. After this experience, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight at the Zanzibar palace hotel.
Day 14: end of safari
You will have breakfast at your hotel ahead of your flight from Zanzibar to Nairobi, which will bring your safari to an end.
