12 days Kenya and Tanzania safari is a tour which will start in Tanzania and you will be driven to the border to cross to Kenya for a safari around destinations like Amboseli national park, Masai Mara national reserve.
You will also engage in a Tanzania Safari and visit Serengeti national park and the Ngorongoro crater and also a hike on Mount Kilimanjaro and also take part in a cultural experience with the Maasai people. The safari will end in Tanzania.
Day 1; arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport and drive to Amboseli national park
Your guide will pick you up from Kilimanjaro international airport and welcome you for your safari. You will also have a short briefing before driving to Namanga border where you will be met with your guide in Kenya and drive to Amboseli national park where you will engage in wildlife viewing and searching for wildlife species like elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalos, antelopes among others. Your dinner and overnight will be at AA Amboseli lodge.
Day 2; full day in Amboseli national park
Your day will start with breakfast at your lodge as you prepare to engage in a morning game viewing experience in Amboseli national park. You will also search for different wildlife species during your morning game drive in the national park after which you will have lunch.
In Amboseli national park, you will see Africa’s highest mountain which is Mt Kilimanjaro as you engage in a game drive where you will look out for a variety of wildlife species such as elephants, lions, cheetahs, jackals, serval cats, giraffes, gazelles, zebras among others. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at AA Amboseli lodge.
Day 3; drive to Nairobi
On the 3rd day of your 12 days Kenya and Tanzania safari, You will have breakfast at your lodge in Amboseli national park and then check out of the lodge. After checking out of the lodge, you will proceed to Nairobi where you will have a brief city tour and proceed to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Le Maison royale hotel.
Day 4; drive to Masai Mara national reserve
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be driven to Masai Mara national reserve with a stop in Narok town where the Maasai people live and you will interact with them and learn more about their culture. After the cultural experience in Narok, you will proceed to Masai Mara.
You will also have an evening game drive to experience the beautiful wilderness of Masai Mara where you will see a variety of wildlife species for which this reserve is known such as the big five which are lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and rhinos. Other wildlife species include zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, antelopes, cheetahs, hyenas and many others. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at AA Mara lodge.
Day 5 and 6; full day in Masai Mara reserve
You will have an early breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for a whole day adventure in the plains of the different parts of the Masai Mara. After breakfast, you will explore the wild with your packed lunches as you watch the different wildlife and bird species in the reserve at in the morning and in the afternoon such as lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants, antelopes, giraffes, zebras, gazelles among others as you enjoy the scenery. After the game drives, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at AA Mara lodge.
Day 7; transfer to Serengeti national park
You will have a very early breakfast and check out from the lodge. You will have a game drive on your way to isebania, this day will take you to the other side of Masai Mara as you exit the park and proceed to Serengeti national park and continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti heritage luxury tented camp.
Day 8; full day in Serengeti national park
You will wake up for an early breakfast at your lodge ahead of a morning and afternoon game drive. You will engage in a morning game drive around Serengeti national park and look out for wildlife species like the big 5 such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos and rhinos as well as wildebeests, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, antelopes, giraffes, impalas, waterbucks among others.
After your morning game drive, you will have lunch and later engage in an afternoon game drive around the national park in search of more wildlife species. After your full day of wildlife viewing, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti heritage luxury tented camp.
Day 9; transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area
On the 9th day of your 12 days Kenya and Tanzania safari, After a having breakfast at the lodge, your guide will drive you to the Ngorongoro crater where you will visit the world’s largest in-active caldera and also enjoy the beautiful views around the destination.
You will search for various wildlife species such as cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, leopards, lions, buffalos, kudu and many others, including the famous African big five. After descending about 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater, you will also enjoy seeing flamingos in the Ngorongoro crater as you enjoy a game drive and take photos. After the game drive, you shall head to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10; drive to Arusha and Maasai cultural experience
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and welcome you for your safari. Your guide will drive you around Arusha and you will visit the Maasai market and learn how to make local crafts and also enjoy traditional lunches. You will also enjoy shopping and later return to your hotel where you will have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11; Kilimanjaro hike
On the 11th day of your 12 days Kenya and Tanzania safari, You shall be met by your guide in Arusha, and then proceed for a transfer to the foothills of Kilimanjaro Mountain, the highest free standing mountain in the world, and the highest mountain in Africa. You shall proceed to embark on a hike of the Marangu route, which will take you 6 hours to ascend and descend. After, you shall be driven to Moshi town from where you shall have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 12; departure
You will have an early breakfast at your hotel in Arusha and then check out of the hotel. You will proceed to drive to the airport where your guide will drop you off which will bring the trip to an end.
