King of the Jungle

The male Lion’s Mane makes it very difficult for another cat to grab, hold, and kill him by suffocation or by breaking his neck. The mane is not found in any other cat species, big or small. This exclusivity gives him an advantage, very much like a king. His roar is also very loud, distinctive, and commanding. However, a lion is a top (king) predator, both beautiful, and strong, a provider of cubs, and a defender of lands.
