Vehicle and aircraft fees

Vehicle and aircraft fees are charged on each and every vehicle entering the park and any aircraft landing in the park, fees for vehicles are drafted basing on the number of seats and the weight of the vehicle. Aircrafts are charged according to the type of the aircraft and the number of seats.

Useful information to note by a tourist going for a safari in mountain Kenya national park

  1. Daily fees charged by Kenya wildlife society expire after 24 hours
  2. Carry valid personal documents such as passport, visa most especially foreign tourists and east African tourists and National Identity for Kenyan tourists
  3. Corporate passes into Kenyan national parks are only granted to companies and organisations providing utility to national parks and other destinations managed by Kenya wildlife society.
  4. Park fees are charged depending to the status of the tourist that is citizens and east African citizens, foreign residents and non-foreign residents. Foreign residents are individuals with valid documents from the government of Kenya such as working permit, citizens are individuals with valid Kenyan passport or national identity card. East African citizens are individuals from countries like Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi and Rwanda. Children are tourists from the age of 3 and not exceeding 18 years of age and adults are individuals from 18 years of age and above.
