Lake Ngozi has the African- like view; the wonderfulness of Lake Ngozi as one of the tourist attractions in Tanzania is the fact that lake Ngozi looks like the map of African continent. Most people are attracted to visit Lake Ngozi due to this so that they can prove on the truth about the lake. This proves that Tanzania is one of the countries in African continent with a lot of tourist attractions and some of the attractions are not even well known by both natives or domestic tourists and the foreigners. Lake Ngozi is one of the largest lakes in east Africa and Africa at large. Its appearance is like the African continent. Sometimes, some bird species swims even during the night and this makes the appearance of the lake to be so impressive and attractive to both domestic and external visitors and tourists. Most visitors enjoy and refresh the impressive view of different species of birds around the lake.
The lake also does not support swimming for any animal species especially human being. It has no doubt that the lake have some spiritual connections with traditional beliefs and is most respective to the native and villagers around it. Most people fear swimming in Lake Ngozi and there are some records that shows that some people who tried to swim in it passed away some years ago.
The people around it have their traditional leader who is the local chief. Villagers are used to pay great respect to him and he is the one that practices local and traditional prayer to their gods around the lake to seek for assistance and help in case of anything worse. According to the villagers around this area, this is the wonderful and magic water dam since its water appear to be cold on the top while its depth is hot.
Then, people around Lake Ngozi believe that the lake water is traditional medicine used for curing some skin diseases. They believe that when they use such a medicine they are getting healed. This can be proved and evidenced by some people around the Inyala village that is located near Lake Ngozi,
