Akagera game lodge

Akagera game lodge is a beautiful luxury accommodation facility located in the southern region of the amazing Akagera national park in Kayonza district Eastern province of Rwanda, the lodge is strategically situated to offer accommodation to tourists visiting Akagera national park for a safari and other neighboring areas. Akagera game lodge lies in a distance of 5 kilometers from the southern entrance gate Akagera national park and it is in a drive of 20 minute’s drive from Lake Ihema famous for boat cruise, the lodge boasts panoramic views of lake Ihema and lake Shikani.

Akagera game lodge sits on a hill on the southern tip of Akagera national park above the savannah grasslands of the park, the lodge aims at offering a perfect home away from home for its visitors and it boasts 60 rooms, a conference center, restaurant, bar and a conference centre.

Akagera game lodge boasts modern, comfortable and luxurious accommodation rooms which make it an ideal place to stay at while on your safari in Akagera national park, the lodge has 60 air conditioned rooms which are decorated in contemporary Rwandese style . These rooms are suitable workplace with working desks and Wi-Fi for business visitors of the lodge, these rooms consists of twin beds or double beds and they have en-suite bathrooms. Rooms at Akagera game lodge are categorized as upstairs rooms and down stairs rooms, the downstairs rooms are 30 in number and they are bigger than the upstairs rooms which are also 30 in number and though upstairs rooms are smaller they have balconies overlooking the park thus offering panoramic views of lake Ihema, lake Shikani and the beautiful vegetation cover.
