Maktau south gate
Maktau south gate is also situated on the southern eastern end of Tsavo west national park near the south eastern border of the park with Maktau town, the gate is considered as the larger gate of the two gates that is Maktau north gate and Maktau south gate. Maktau south gate is accessed by road using Voi – Taveta route and by air using Maktau airstrip, the gate has facilities like a Kenya wildlife service (KWS) ranger outpost, KWS headquarters for the southern sector of park and toilets.
Lake Jipe gate
Lake Jipe gate is situated near the western shores of Lake Jipe which food in the park, the gate has facilities like toilets and rangers post. Lake Jipe gate is mostly used by tourists getting to the park using Lake Jipe airstrip as it is the nearest airstrip and situated in the same vicinity with the gate.

Mtito Andei gate is located on the northern end of Tsavo west national park on the northern end on the out skirts of Mtito Andei, the gate is accessed using road on a bus, train and kamboyo airstrip. The gate has a gift shop, toilets and Kenya wildlife service (KWS) offices.
