2023 – 2024 park entrance fees for Tanzania National parks : Park entrance fees are among the requirements for safaris to the different national parks around Tanzania.

East Africans and Tanzanians when visiting Serengeti national park are charged park entrance fee of 10,000 Tanzania shillings for visitors above the age of 16 years and children aged between 5 and 15 years are charged park entrance fee of 2000 Tanzania shillings.

Tarangire national park, Arusha national park and Lake Manyara national park are charged the same park entrance fees for nonresidents, residents or expatriates and also East Africans or Tanzanians.

Nonresident visitors above the age of 16 years are charged park entrance fee of 50 USD in the high season and 45 USD in the low season and children between 5 and 15 years are charged park entrance fee of 15 USD for tours to Lake Manyara national park, Tarangire national park and Arusha national park.

Residents and expatriates above the age of 16 years visiting Lake Manyara national park, Tarangire national park and Arusha national park are charged park entrance fee of 25 USD in the high season and 22.5 USD in the low season. Children aged between 5 and 15 years are charged park entrance fee of 7.5 USD.

East Africans and Tanzanians visiting Lake Manyara national park, Tarangire national park and Arusha national park are charged 10,000 Tanzania shillings for adults above the age of 16 years and 2000 Tanzania shillings for children between 5 and 15 years. This entrance fee is also the same for East Africans visiting Kilimanjaro national park, Ruaha national park and Gombe national park thus 2022 park entrance fees for Tanzania National parks.

Kilimanjaro national park is another tour destination which is found in the northern part of Tanzania. Nonresidents visiting the park are charged entrance fee of 70 USD for tourists above the age of 16 years and for nonresident children aged between 5 and 15 years are charged park entrance fee of 20 USD.

Residents visiting Kilimanjaro national park are charged park entrance fee of 35 USD for those above the age of 16 years and children between the age of 5 and 15 years are charged park entrance fee of 10 USD.

The western part of Tanzania is known for primate safaris in destinations such as Gombe national park and Mahale national park where chimpanzees can be seen during a tour at the destinations.

For nonresidents visiting Gombe national park above the age of 16 years, the visitors are charged park entrance fee of 100 USD and children aged between 5 and 15 years are charged park entrance fee of 20 USD.

Residents visiting Gombe national park above 16 years are charged park entrance fee of 50 USD and 10 USD for children aged between 5 and 15 years.

Nonresidents visiting Mahale national park are charged park entrance fee of 80 USD for visitors above 16 years and 20 USD for visitors aged between 5 and 15 years. Residents aged above 16 years are charged park fee of 40 USD and children aged between 5 and 15 years are charged park entrance fee of 10 USD.

During tours around Ruaha national park, nonresidents are charged park entrance fee of 30 USD for adults above the age of 16 years while children aged between 5 and 15 years are charged park entrance fee of 10 USD. Resident adults above the age of 16 years are charged 15 USD for tours to Ruaha national park while children between 5 and 15 years are charged park entrance fee of 5 USD.

The park entrance fee for Ruaha national park is similar to the entrance fee paid by visitors touring other parks in Tanzania such as Katavi national park, Mikumi national park, Rubondo island national park, Saadani national park, Kitulo national park, Mkomazi national park, Udzungwa mountains national park, Burigi-chato national park among others.
