2025 & 2026 Nairobi National Park Fees and Rules. As of 1st October 2025, the updated 2025 Nairobi National Park fees as provided by the Kenya Wildlife Services (KWS), a government body responsible for the protection and conservation of the different Kenya wildlife parks, took effect and shall be so through 2026.

- Non-Resident. This means a national of any country other than an East African citizen or African citizen
- This is a person other than a Kenyan citizen or an East African citizen residing in Kenya with a valid resident permit.
- East African Citizen. This means a citizen of the Community established under the Treaty for the Establishment of the East African Community.
- African Citizen. This refers to a national of other African countries other than East African Community member states.
- This is a person that is 5 years to 17 years old.
- This is a person that is 18 years and above.
- This refers to an individual not older than 23 years from a recognized secondary school, college or university who is visiting the national park or sanctuary for educational purposes under a documented and organized arrangement with the educational institution.
2025 & 2026 Nairobi National Park fees require one to show identification to ascertain the travelers’ age and nationality so that the rightful fees are levied. To note is that children under the age of 5 are exempt from paying park fees. Nairobi National Park entrance and conservation fees are per person per day.
2026 Nairobi National Park Access Fees are as below:
Nairobi National Park Access Fees for Adults.
Non-residents pay USD per person per day, African citizens pay 40USD per person per day, Residents pay KSH, and East African Citizens pay 1,000 KSH per person per day. The Nairobi Package, which includes Nairobi National Park, the Nairobi Animal Orphanage and the Nairobi Safari walk, is priced at 105 USD for non-residents, 55USD for African Citizens, 1,750 KSH for Residents, and East African citizens pay 1,300KSH, all per person per day.
Nairobi National Park Access Fees for Children and Students.
Non-resident children and students pay 40USD, African citizens pay 20USD, Residents pay 675KSHS, while East African citizen children and students pay 500 KSH, all per person per day. The Nairobi package that includes Nairobi National Park, Nairobi Animal Orphanage and Nairobi Safari walk is priced at 55USD for non-resident children or students, 20USD for African citizens, 950KSH for residents, and 700 KSH for East African Citizen children or students.

Nairobi National Park Rules

- Do not pick, destroy or cut any vegetation, or take with you any object of biological interest like eggs or bones, among others
- Do not make noise in the park; radios and music are not allowed.
- Do not mimic animal sounds or clap or pound on the safari vehicle to have the attention of an animal.
- Picnicking in to be done in designated parts or areas of Nairobi National Park
- Do not litter; keep all your waste with you, including food covers, until you find a proper disposal area
- Do not smoke while in the park
- Do not light or cause a fire to be lit. If camping, properly put out the fire completely.
- Remain in your safari vehicles at all times, maintaining a 200m distance away from any animal, unless on a guided walking safari.
- Domestic pets are not allowed in the safari park
- Drones are not allowed in the park
