We must admit that we have a decent sense of design, and Kichuguu has a really appealing appearance. Only 11 tents are present, and they are all spaced far enough apart to ensure maximum seclusion. When we first arrived at Kananga Special Camp, we was struck by how different it was from other camps in that it was on an open field rather than inside a forest and covered by bushes. You therefore enjoy unobstructed views everywhere you turn. Although the entire setup is quite open and airy, they were still able to place some lovely paintings on the camp’s few walls.
