6 days Bwindi and Mount Sabinyo hike is a tour which will start in Entebbe and during the tour, you will visit Bwindi national park where you will take part in gorilla trekking and also a cultural tour.
During the tour, you will also visit Mgahinga national park and hike Mount Sabinyo. You will also visit Lake Bunyonyi during the 6 days Uganda tour and after the tour, you will be dropped off in Entebbe which will bring the safari to an end.
Day 1; pick up and drive to Bwindi national park
Your guide will pick you up from Entebbe on the first day of your safari. After a short briefing and introductions you will start your journey to Bwindi national park. You will have a stop at the equator and enjoy taking photos and seeing local arts and crafts.
You will also have lunch in Mbarara town and after lunch you will be driven to Bwindi national park where you will check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2; gorilla trekking
After breakfast at the lodge, you will be met by your guide and you will carry packed lunch and transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing you will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is knowledgeable about the mountain gorillas and also conversant with different gorilla trekking trails.
During the gorilla trek in Bwindi national park, you will encounter other primate species in the forest as well as different bird species. When you find the mountain gorillas, you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to observe their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, playing, breastfeeding, grooming young ones, take photos and record videos. After the one hour encounter with the gorillas, you will be driven back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3; community tour and transfer to Mgahinga
On the 3rd day of your 6 days Bwindi and Mount Sabinyo hike, You will start your day with breakfast at the lodge and you will take part in a community tour with the Batwa people. You will interact with the Batwa and get to know more about their culture and way of life. You will enjoy traditional dance performances, learn how to make coffee the local way, visit the Bakiga house and granary, visit the herbalist and also taste the local food.
After your community tour, you will be driven to the lodge where you will spend the rest of the evening and have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4; hike Mount Sabinyo
After breakfast at the lodge, you will start your hike on Mount Sabinyo. you will start with briefing at Ntebeko and after briefing, you will start the hike as early as 8:00 am. You will hike to the summit where you will enjoy beautiful views and along the way to the summit you will also encounter some wildlife species. After the hike, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5; transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and boat ride
On the 5th day of your 6 days Bwindi and Mount Sabinyo hike, You will have breakfast at the lodge and your guide will drive you to Lake Bunyonyi where you will check in at the lodge. You will spend the rest of the day relaxing by the lake and also take part in a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi which is the deepest lake in Uganda.
You will also enjoy exploring the islands on Lake Bunyonyi as you take in the views around you of the terraced hills. After the boat ride, you will enjoy the sunset and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6; drive to Entebbe or Kampala and departure
You will have breakfast at the lodge and after checking out, your guide will drive you to Entebbe or Kampala and you will have a stop for lunch enroute. You will be dropped off at the airport to your hotel which will bring the safari to an end.
