KWIHALA CAMP – RUAHA NATIONAL PARK TANZANIA
Kwihala camp is a mid- range accommodation found on in the north and deep bushes( of the towering baobab trees and dense forest) of Ruaha National Park Tanzania region . The camp is found in remote areas on the hillside with a panoramic view of Ruaha National park. The camp is owned and operated by asilia Africa that run ambient and unique accommodations across Kenya and Tanzania. The best way to travel to Ruaha national park from ARUSHA CITY is a flight that takes 5-6 hours to the close Msembe airstrip then 35 minutes to be transferred to the Camp. It’s very far to drive from Arusha City to the Ruaha national park , since by road it takes about 941 km.

Kwihala camp consists of 6 spacious and comfortable tents suitable for family , individual travellers and couples with the view of the park built in African Traditional style with high levels of comfort. Tents are well elevated on a raised platform , decorated and furnished with tranquility and en suite private facilities of flushing toilet , separate bathroom with hot and cold showers, mosquito nets , wooden chairs and tables , extinguishers, free bottled water in the rooms , free toiletries had wash basin , white curtains to mention but few . Each tent has a large Interior sitting areas and veranda that give a stunning view over the wilderness and surrounding areas. Rooms are well equipped with comfortable beds containing queen sized beds and wooden ceiling fans. There is a camp fire pit with comfortable seats where guests relax especially after a Tanzania safari as they share stories ,it also provides warmth during chill weather .Rooms are in different sizes with singles bed with individuals, doubles beds for couples / twins, and family rooming options with different costs ranging from 200$ per night and above. The room rate keeps changing as they go high during peak season than in low seas

A restaurant in the main tent with the view of the park serving different cuisines both international and African- inspired meals that meets guests choice. Meals offered include Continental breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner in the main building served by well trained, friendly and welcoming staff, you can have meals in any place of your choice either veranda overlooking the park or in the dining areas. Bush breakfast is also offered while enjoying morning sunrises and bush dinners while overlooking the stars in the sky.
A-well stocked bar with variety of refreshment both alcoholic and nonalcoholic overlooking the spectacular view of the park and surrounding area. You relax while listening to the Africa’s sound of nature.

Ruaha national park is the second largest national park in Tanzania after Nyerere national park found in the south of the central mid- point of Tanzania and west of Iringa Town . The park was established in 1964 and It covers the total area of 20,226 square kilometers (7,809 ) square miles The Park is most visited and has different categories of accommodations that include Budget, Mid- range/ moderate and Luxury/expensive accommodations that are convenient and affordable to any travellers, tourists visiting the park.
