16 Days Kenya, Tanzania Uganda Safari
Your 16 days Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda safari will start in Nairobi Kenya and you will also visit various destinations in the country during your safari such as the famous Masai Mara national reserve and also visit the home of the rare rhino species which is Lake Nakuru national park. During this combined safari, you will also enjoy game drives in other countries such as Tanzania safaris where you will look out for the big 5 and other wildlife species in Serengeti national park and Ngorongoro crater.
Day 1: Arrival to Kenya
Arrival to Kenya through Nairobi international airport, be met by our driver guide who will warmly welcome you, brief you on the 16 Days Kenya Tanzania Uganda Safari itinerary then transfer you to your lodge for accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Le Maison Royale hotel.
Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara
In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi and drive through the Great Rift Valley to Maasai Mara National reserve. Check in at your lodge/camp for lunch and then proceed with afternoon game drives in the reserve. You will have dinner and overnight at AA Mara lodge.
Day 3: Full day in Masai Mara
You will have full day game drives in the Masai Mara national reserve and also have lunch picnic and later engage in an afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge/camp for Overnight and dinner at AA Mara lodge.
Day 4: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru national park
After breakfast, drive from Mara to Lake Nakuru national park. You will also engage in a game drive in the national park to search for various wildlife species like the rare rhinos. You will have dinner and overnight stay at Zziwa bush lodge.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi – Tanzania
On the 5th day of your 16 Days Kenya, Tanzania Uganda Safari, you will have breakfast at your lodge and your guide will drive you to Nairobi. You will proceed to the Namanga border where you will drive to Arusha Tanzania where you will continue to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Tulia boutique hotel and spa.
Day 6: Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater Rim
In the morning after breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Ngorongoro crater rim. You will have lunch in the lodge and after lunch you will engage in a walking safari along the crater rim enjoying the beauty scenery of the Ngorongoro highlands. Later walk back and meet your vehicle back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Hhando coffee lodge.
Day 7: Full day Crater Tour
You will have breakfast then descends into the Crater floor a game drive around Ngorongoro. All the big 5 such as rhinos, lion, leopard, buffalo and elephant live in this wonderful caldera, others are zebra, hippos, wildebeest, hyena and many more. Birds such as flamingos can be seen on the soda lake. After your game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Hhando coffee lodge.
Day 8: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park
Breakfast in Ngorongoro then depart for Serengeti national Park with game drives enroute where by you will arrive in the lodge for hot lunch. After lunch, you will proceed with afternoon game drives in Serengeti on you will relax at leisure in the lodge waiting for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 9: Full day in Serengeti N.P
After breakfast then continues with both morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti national Park to have a look for lion, leopard, elephant, cheetah, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, eland, hyenas, gazelles, hippos and more. You will have all meals and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 10: Serengeti – Lake Manyara N.P
After breakfast check out and drive to Lake Manyara national park where you will have lunch and after lunch go for afternoon game drive in the park. The park is home to Tree climbing Lion, Buffalo, Giraffe, Hippo, troops of baboons, also flamingo birds and more. After your game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Twiga lodge.
Day 11: Full day in Lake Manyara National park
Early breakfast will be served at your lodge ahead of a for morning game drive around Lake Manyara national park as you search for tree climbing lion, buffalos, giraffes, hippo, troops of Baboons among other wildlife species. You will have lunch after your morning game drive and later engage in an afternoon game drive after which you will drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Twiga lodge.
Day 12: drive to Kilimanjaro airport and Flight to Uganda
On the 12th day of your 16 Days Kenya, Tanzania Uganda Safari, have early breakfast and depart for Kilimanjaro International airport via the Town of Arusha, for your flight to Entebbe international park airport in Uganda. Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be picked up and transfer you to your hotel where you will have dinner and overnight stay at Best western hotel Entebbe.
Day 13; Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth national park
You will have breakfast at your hotel ahead of your drive to Queen Elizabeth national park. You will have lunch enroute and also engage in a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel where you will look out for elephants, buffalos, hippos and crocodiles in the water. After this exciting experience, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Elephant hub lodge.
Day 14; Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
You will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On the way you will have a stopover in Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth national park where you will look out for the famous tree climbing lions which will be lazily lying up in acacia/ fig tree branches.
After the game drive in Ishasha sector you will have lunch and then continue the journey to the Bwindi impenetrable national park you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma haven lodge.
Day 15: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
After an early breakfast, you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing you will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is knowledgeable about the mountain gorillas and also conversant with different gorilla trekking trails.
During trekking you will be able to view other primate species, different bird species, plants among others and once the mountain gorillas are found, you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to observe their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, playing, breastfeeding, grooming young ones, take photos and record videos. After the one hour encounter with the gentle giants, you will drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.
Day 16; drive to Entebbe
On the last day of your safari, you will have breakfast and check out of your lodge as you prepare for your drive to Entebbe with lunch enroute and your guide will drop you off at your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala or at the airport which will bring your safari to an end.
