Arusha National Park

Arusha national park was established in the year 1960, before being gazetted as a park, it was a battleground for the Masai people and their neighbors. In the early 19th century a German family had owned a farm on top of Mount Meru but were later dismissed by the locals, who saw them as enemies of the black people. one of the ladies in the Trappe German family was one of the best women hunters in East Africa the family returned later on and purchased their land back.

Game drives:

Mountain climbing:
The famous Mount Meru stands 4566 meters above sea level. Mount Meru is the second-highest peak in Tanzania after mount Kilimanjaro.
